Private by design

Your raw health data never leaves your device.

And for everything else: Frankfurt. Here is the full architecture — honest, in detail.

Zone 1 · Your iPhone

Raw data stays local

Every HRV reading, every sleep stage, every heart-rate sample: your sensor data is processed entirely on your device. These time series are never uploaded.

Zone 2 · Frankfurt (EU)

Computed metrics & your entries

So a new phone never wipes your history, we back up derived daily metrics (e.g. readiness 74), your profile and what you enter yourself — meals, journal, your coach’s notes. Encrypted, in a Frankfurt data centre.

Zone 3 · AI transit

Requests without storage

When you ask the coach, aggregated daily metrics — never raw data — are sent to our AI partners to answer. Nothing is stored and nothing is trained on.

What lives where — in detail

Data type
Location
Why
Raw HRV, pulse & sleep-stage data
Your device only
Processing runs on-device — uploading is simply unnecessary.
Daily scores (readiness, sleep …)
Frankfurt
So your history survives a device switch.
Profile & photo
Frankfurt
Your account — app and web share the same access.
Meals & journal
Frankfurt
Entered by you; synced so nothing gets lost.
Coach notes (“memories”)
Frankfurt
You see every note in the app and can delete each one.
AI requests
Transit, never stored
Only aggregated metrics to answer — no training on your data.

You are in control

Consent per feature

The cloud AI only runs with your explicit consent — revocable at any time.

Deletion in minutes

Deleting your account removes all your data server-side, completely.

Honest language

We do not promise “anonymous” or “no cloud” — we show you exactly what lives where, and why.

Frequent questions

Does Veyro see my heartbeat?
The app reads your sensor data locally on your iPhone and derives metrics like readiness from it. The raw measurement series never leave your device — only computed daily values go to the cloud.
Does the AI train on my data?
No. Coach requests are processed to answer and are not stored; there is no training on your content.
Why a cloud at all?
So a new iPhone does not erase your history and app and web see the same state. We store the minimum for that: daily metrics, profile and your own entries — in Frankfurt.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. “Delete account” in the app removes your data server-side, completely. Local health data remains managed by your device.
Where exactly are the servers?
Our database runs in a data centre in Frankfurt, Germany (AWS eu-central-1) with our processor Supabase.
